The Longest Days of Summer

In the heart of summer there are only three hours between last-light and first-light here at Mount Falcon. Whether you're an early riser or a night owl the longest days of summer give our guests ample opportunity to experience the beautify and serenity of the estate. Nestled in the gateway to Northwest Mayo between the historic town of Foxford, home to the woollen mills and birthplace of the Adm. Brown, the founding father of the Argentinian Navy (yes, it’s true!), and Ballina, the salmon fishing capital of Ireland, Mount Falcon is the perfect place to stay while you explore your summer in the West of Ireland.

Boasting activities both day and night guests can fill their entire stay without even stepping foot off the estate. Those seeking total relaxation will enjoy myriad offerings in our spa attended by professionally trained therapists working with spa-quality Elemis and Neom products. Guests can take advantage of our Summer Spa special where they will enjoy our Back, Neck & Shoulder Massage with an Elemis Taster Facial for only €89. This 50-minute treatment is the perfect combination to relax and refresh.

After your spa treatment you will want to further indulge by relaxing in our indoor heated pool, taking a dip in the jacuzzi, and melting away your cares in the steam room and dry sauna.

Let the music take you away every Saturday night all summer long in the Al Fresco setting of Tom Doyle's Kitchen Restaurant and bar. In its sixth year the tent at Mount Falcon is home to our dance floor, Al Fresco Bar and the full menu from Chef Tom’s kitchen. Chef’s menu features an inspired in-house dry aged beef selection the likes of which can only be found at Mount Falcon along the western seaboard. On Saturdays the stage comes alive with performances from our resident musicians like the Master of Soul Buck Taylor, and the dynamic duo of Keith & Lorraine McDonald, just to name a few.

More adventurous? Let us get you on the water on the River Moy fishing for Wild Atlantic Salmon with one of our local ghillies or spend an afternoon with our falconers learning about the wonders of our Birds of Prey in the falconry. Whatever you choose we make it easy.

We have a variety of accommodations available, from three bed lodges nestled in different areas of our hundred-acre estate to sumptuous suites overlooking the Ox Mountains.
