Connacht Whiskey Distillery
The Connacht Whiskey Distillery is situated beside the picturesque Belleek woods in Ballina and is the first working distillery to open in Mayo for over 100 years.
A guided tour of the distillery offers visitors the opportunity to discover, from grain to glass, the tradition and craft behind copper pot distillation and the revival of spirit making along the banks of the river Moy. Each step in the production stage is expertly explained, offering an engaging and informative experience
Visitors are then invited to an intimate tasting session where our knowledgeable guides explain the nose and the flavour profile of each of our spirits including the Spade&Bushel whiskey, our award winning Straw Boys vodka and our Straw Boys Poitin.
