The 2009 season will be again remembered for the unprecedented high summer water levels just as the previous season. We again lost some days fishing during August & September because of the vey high dirty water.
Despite this we ended the season with 543 fish over 140 fish up on the year before and with the number of fish recorder on the fly well up.
The season got off to a good start with two fish on the 3rd of May the fist fish of the season being caught by 12 year old John mead the son of one of our houses owners it weight 9.5Lbs. July was the most productive month with 212 fish landed. Once again our anglers showed their commitment to conservation by retuning 233 fish Mount Falcon will be donating €5 to the North Atlantic Salmon Conservation Organisation per fish returned..
