The Kitchen Restaurant is the focal point of dining at Mount Falcon; bursting with energy and character and is located in the original kitchen of the manor house. Keeping on the tradition served by the world renowned Mount Falcon Fishing and Country Estate, our dishes are offered on menus boasting the very best in quality and prepared using only fresh and local produce. Originally, run by the legendary Connie Aldridge, founder of the Blue Book, the Kitchen at Mount Falcon will provide a full feast of the senses for you to enjoy on your stay.
The Moy River which runs through the Estate is a source of Wild Atlantic Salmon which anglers are encouraged to "Catch and Cook", with wild game featuring on menus in the winter months. All our meat and poultry is of local origin, with our cheeses sourced from Connaught and Munster. We offer a selection of menus each evening which caters for vegetarians, vegans and those with special dietary requirements. All menus are designed, around seasonality and availability of fresh produce. For lighter refreshment our Bistro menu is available in the Boathole Bar and our famous Afternoon Tea is a very special treat and has become a well renowned ritual in Mayo.
The Kitchen Restaurant is designed with tables nestled around the nooks and crannies of the original Pantry and Kitchen. Individuals, small groups, private parties and all occasions are catered for; with our aim to ensure that every element of your dining will be memorable and enjoyable at our hotel in Mayo, full with the delights of a pleasurable experience.
